JKSSB Admit Cards for OMR-Based Draftsman Exam Available Now

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has taken a significant step in the recruitment process for the post of Draftsman (Civil). As per the Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2023, under item No.s 005 and 006, an OMR-based Written Examination is scheduled to be held on September 24, 2023. 1. Exam Date: The OMR-based Written Examination for the post of Draftsman (Civil) is scheduled for September 24, 2023.
2. Admit Card Availability: Admit Cards for candidates with exams on September 24, 2023, will be available for download on JKSSB’s official website, www.jkssb.nic.in, from September 17, 2023, starting at 4:00 PM until the examination date.
3. Download Process: To download their Admit Cards, candidates should log in using their registered E-mail ID and Date of Birth. It is crucial to thoroughly read and understand the instructions provided within the Admit Card.
4. Assistance and Support: In case of any difficulties or issues related to Admit Cards, candidates can contact the JKSSB Help-Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar). Alternatively, they can reach out via email at helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com. The Help-Desk will be active from September 17, 2023, to September 24, 2023, during office hours.
5. Eligibility and Consequences: Candidates are reminded that any misrepresentation, concealment of material facts, impersonation, or fraudulent actions when claiming eligibility can lead to the cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action.
6. Board’s Authority: The JKSSB reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate at any stage if they are found to be ineligible.
7. Negative Marking: It is essential for candidates to note that there will be negative marking for wrong answers in the examination, with 1/4th of the allotted marks deducted for each incorrect response. Detailed criteria for this process will be made available to candidates.
